
Regulatory Affairs Specialist
Job Description

If so, we are looking for a dedicated Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team in Uzbekistan.
Your new role
In the role of Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will facilitate the registration of new medicines and cover Uzbekistan, Georgia, Mongolia, Turkmenistan. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead end-to-end regulatory activities (registration, renewals, variations, and lifecycle management) for products, ensuring full compliance with local and international regulations.
- Prepare and coordinate submission documentation, including local normative documents, with alignment and approval from Headquarters (HQ).
- Manage labeling activities: develop mock-ups and package leaflets (including Russian/local language versions) and submit artwork/labeling cases via corporate systems.
- Liaise with Health Authorities: prepare responses to queries and deficiency letters, coordinate with HQ, and manage translation and submission of required documents.
- Maintain accurate and timely updates in global systems (e.g., RIM, Vault, novoGloW) to ensure proper tracking of registration status.
- Monitor regulatory changes and provide guidance to internal stakeholders and HQ, supporting submission planning and special projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (HQ, local teams, vendors) to ensure compliance, approval of promotional materials, and adherence to Quality, Pharmacovigilance, and QMS requirements.
Your new department
Novo Nordisk Representative office in Uzbekistan, based in Tashkent. In Uzbekistan, you will work closely with marketing, sales and medical colleagues and benefit from strong collaboration with the wider regional RA community.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacology, Chemical or Healthcare
- Minimum 1 year of experience in similar position
- Knowledge of regulatory environment and local legislation
- Experience with safety updates, labelling variations, regulatory submissions, and use of local regulatory IT systems
- Good communication, negotiation, and time‑management skills to support cross‑functional collaboration under tight deadlines
- Confident PC and IT systems user (incl. Microsoft and others)
- English language skills (both written and spoken)
