Job Description
- Identify supply chain risks and mitigation steps to ensure material readiness from product goes into mass production (sustaining phase) and through End of Life (EOL).
- Communicate status, risks, and influence change. Drive initiatives and process improvements to help the team. Represent the materials organization in internal program meetings.
- Maintain budget records and provide a level of Customer Service for internal customers. Source, evaluate and recommend potential suppliers, support cost reduction programs.
- Follow up on open purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery and communicate with internal customers to resolve receiving and account payable discrepancies.
- Drive material readiness for mass production builds in a balanced and sustained fashion.
