Power Washing Technician

$16.50- $17.75 per hour, full- time
Summary
Power Washing Technician operates professional-grade power washing and chemical injection equipment to deep clean industrial storage racks, removing debris and buildup from complex framework structures while inspecting for structural issues and safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience with power washing, industrial cleaning, or equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for performing routine equipment upkeep.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when inspecting structural components.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
Equipment Operation
- Safely set up, operate, and maintain power washers and chemical injection equipment.
- Perform basic maintenance on pressure-washing units, including checking oil levels and air filters, clearing nozzle clogs, and properly coiling hoses to prevent damage.
Rack Cleaning and Deep Sanitation
- Thoroughly clean industrial racks by blasting away debris and buildup.
- Ensure no areas are missed and that the complex rack framework is fully cleaned from top to bottom.
Post-Cleaning Inspection
- Inspect cleaned racks for structural integrity, checking for cracks, bends, or severe rust.
- Report any structural concerns to the supervisor or maintenance team.
- Confirm racks meet safety standards before returning them to service.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Report equipment malfunctions or unsafe conditions promptly.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies (up to 50 pounds)
