Job Title: Director of Corporate Sales

Reports to: SVP Retail                                                  

Division: Corporate Sales

*Based out of our Long Island City, Queens Corporate office

Bucherer USA, a leading retailer in the luxury watch market, is searching for a Director of Corporate Sales who will be responsible for our sales of luxury watch brands, fine jewelry, and accessories to the Business Gifts and Award market. 

We are seeking growth to our existing substantial business, by maintaining and servicing current clientele, and prospecting and cultivating new sales to companies for use in Sales Award programs, years of service, award and recognition, sales incentives, business gifts, loyalty programs and more.  A successful candidate will be highly collaborative, a master organizer of detail and follow-up, a “do-er”, a natural team leader, and comfortable not only selling directly to clients, but managing other Sales Managers and Associates, supporting internal Operations and Client Services, driving new business through marketing and social media opportunities, and maintaining and improving key brand partner relationships. 

It is crucial that the Director of Corporate Sales focuses on developing a long-term relationship with our clients that is based upon trust, so the client awards us with an ongoing program.  This includes strategically following-up with clients and handling escalated issues with outstanding diplomatic skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

•    This role has direct and frequent client contact with accounts and partner brands, as well as manage a team of Regional Sales Managers who sell directly to their accounts.
•    Work with our existing client base on immediate projects and generating leads and new clients through constant outreach, networking and relationship building.  
•    Manage an internal Client Services team to drive client success and maintain high standards of service delivery and customer support, resulting in strong long-term client retention.
•    Oversee our Fulfillment Department which receives in product, inventories, and redistributes to our clientele.
•    Maintain and build on our relationships with key brand partners.
•    Work with Senior Management to best support client needs, ensure the successful implementation of client programs and market to new prospects.
•    Achieve quarterly and annual sales as well as profit margin goals.
•    Ability to effectively engage and interface with clients at all levels, to include VP and C-suite across the US market.
•    Act as the senior leader orchestrating a team of liaisons between the client and internal service/delivery teams.
•    Establish goals for the Sales Managers and provide daily support to achieve those goals
•    Self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with the demonstrated capacity to lead, motivate and work well with others. 
•    Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing D365 for order processing, billing and inventory processes with accuracy
•    Oversee the day to day operations, as well as be the liaison with finance, upper management, marketing, merchandising, service and distribution internal departments
•    Travel to visit with key clients nationally on a as needed basis, exhibit at key market tradeshows and organize and work at onsite events. 
•    Be quick to learn and understand clients’ needs and determine customer expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions

QUALIFICATIONS

•    5-7+ years proven track record of establishing client relationship and maintaining those relationships with ongoing sales history
•    At least 3+ years’ experience managing, supporting and motivating a small team of Sales Managers
•    Knowledge of and experience in the Corporate Gift and Award market, and or Corporate Gift and Incentive Events is a significant plus, but not a prerequisite
•    Prior experience selling luxury watches, fine jewelry or other luxury product is preferred but not a must
•    Display extraordinary client service skills and a strong command of verbal and written communications.
•    A self – starter who is motivated, passionate and ambitious
•    A natural born sales person who loves people, networking and connecting, motivated to hit targets and goals
•    Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
•    Patient, detail oriented and thorough, with an affinity for organization and project management
•    Comfortable learning and navigating new software and systems; including D365, Excel, Microsoft Office
•    Ability to travel on an as needed basis.

SALARY RANGE: $140,000-$160,000
