Helpdesk / Access Manager

(Levels: Mid → Senior) 

Mid Helpdesk / Access Manager

Job description:

  • Support M3 access management
  • Verify security clearance access
  • Support PKI trusted agent activities
  • Validate need-to-know access
  • Support intelligence dissemination processes

Senior Helpdesk / Access Manager

Everything from Mid plus:

Additional responsibilities:

  • Conduct training for military users
  • Draft briefing slides
  • Support classification decisions
  • Support organizational messaging
  • Support complex access decisions

Key difference:
Senior adds training + complex access authority.

Approved IAT Level II Certifications (Commonly Accepted)

  • CompTIA Security+ (Sec+) – Most widely required
  • CompTIA CySA+
  • CompTIA PenTest+
  • GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
  • Cisco CCNA Security – Retired, but still honored if previously earned
  • EC-Council Certified Network Defender (CND)
  • (ISC)² Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) – Qualifies for both Level I and Level II
