Mindgruve is seeking an experienced Social Media Content Creator to produce high-quality, platform-native content that captures attention, drives engagement, and brings brand stories to life. This role goes beyond filming and editing. Our Content Creators are visual storytellers who understand social-first thinking, platform behavior, and audience psychology. You’ll collaborate closely with strategists, designers, and account teams to ideate and execute content across a full range of formats and platforms.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Develop, film, edit, and publish eye-catching short-form video content (TikToks, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) that aligns with clients’ brand voice and objectives.
- Create static graphics, carousels, motion graphics, and text-on-screen storytelling for platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Facebook, and X.
- Conceptualize and execute content ideas that are on-trend, culturally relevant, and optimized for engagement across each platform.
- Apply a brand’s visual guidelines (colors, type, layout) consistently and ensure all content meets accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with strategists and social media managers to build content calendars and ensure alignment with overall social strategy.
- Transform content briefs and storyboards into polished, platform-ready deliverables with minimal supervision.
- Identify and apply trending formats, sounds, and creative styles authentically to brand content.
- Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and creative best practices across platforms.
- Understand social algorithms and engagement signals like watch time, saves, comments, shares, and apply that knowledge to content decisions.
- Analyze content performance metrics and collaborate with strategists to refine creative approaches for improved reach and engagement.
- Contribute content ideas during brainstorming sessions rooted in platform trends, competitor activity, and audience behavior.
- Explore user comments, questions, and UGC for creative inspiration and audience insight.
- Assist with photography and product or lifestyle shoots as needed.
We Need a Person With:
- 2–4 years of experience creating social media content for brands, preferably in an agency or in-house setting.
- A strong portfolio showcasing high-performing, multi-format social content across platforms.
- Proficiency in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar).
- Experience with photography and graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar).
- Experience creating motion graphics or simple animations is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with platform-native creation tools (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts).
