The Impact You’ll Make in This Role
As an Area Sales Operations Specialist, you will support the regional sales organization by improving reporting, forecasting, data quality, sales incentive plan management, and operational execution, while contributing to the strategic management of sales excellence and effectiveness. In this role, you will help drive business discipline, process consistency, and actionable insights that enable effective sales planning, aligned incentive governance, and strong sales team performance across the area.
Key Responsibility:
Manage sales incentive plan processes, including administration, communication, tracking, and alignment with established governance requirements
Maintain and improve CRM data quality, including account, customer, pricing, and opportunity information
Partner with sales leaders to support territory alignment, account assignments, quota tracking, and sales coverage planning
Collaborate with division finance on sample budget allocation, and manage the MySample dashboard
Manage the Command Center, overseeing user access, data quality, system governance, issue resolution, user support, and continuous improvement to enable effective tool utilization and reliable business operations.
Coordinate and support sales operations processes, tools, and standard ways of working across the area
Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement more efficient and standardized sales operations practices
Support sales team onboarding and adoption of systems, reporting tools, and operational processes
Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Business teams, to support execution and alignment
Monitor key sales metrics and help ensure timely follow-up on performance gaps, data issues, and operational actions
Contribute to planning cycles, business reviews, and other commercial operating rhythms as needed
Assist with sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, opportunity tracking, and identification of business risks and growth opportunities
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, or related field
Minimum 3 years experience in sales operations, analytics, commercial support, or a related area
Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Experience in process improvement or project coordination
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Experience with Vistex or Varicent system
Experience supporting field sales teams in a regional environment
Preferred experience in Sales, or Sales Incentive Planning
Work location: Woodlands, Singapore
This role follows an on-site working model. The employee is required to work at least four (4) days per week at a 3M office located in one of the following locations:
