Delivery Assurance Lead Consultant (AMER)
Job Description
Summary
As a Lead Consultant, you will play a hands‑on role in helping to build and execute Guidewire’s new Delivery Assurance and Partner Quality function across the Americas. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Services Partner Quality Assurance, you’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day execution of Delivery Assurance activities in AMER—coordinating reviews, running core processes, preparing analysis and documentation, and ensuring that follow‑up actions are tracked and closed. This is an execution‑focused role for a strong delivery professional who enjoys making things work in practice: gathering and organizing information, structuring reviews, following through on actions, and keeping stakeholders aligned. You will work closely with the global Delivery Assurance leader and Regional Quality Directors, but your primary focus will be on executing the model for AMER: supporting the Partner Capability Maturity Model (PCMM) process, identifying and refining standards, and performing Engagement Assurance to help ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery outcomes on SI‑led and Guidewire‑involved programs in the region.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Assurance Execution
Work with Senior Director, Services Partner Quality Assurance to gather, define, and maintain Professional Services standards to which Partners will be expected to adhere to improve quality.
Coordinate the AMER Delivery Assurance review process and cadence, ensuring that in‑scope SI‑led and Guidewire‑involved engagements are identified, scheduled, and prepared for review.
Gather information requests (artifacts, status reports, metrics) from Partners and engagement teams as input into Delivery Assurance review process
Support the Senior Director and Regional Delivery Assurance leaders by organizing materials, capturing observations, and documenting findings and recommended actions.
Support the PCMM Workflow
Support the Partner Capability Maturity Model (PCMM) process, ensuring that the prescribed process (inputs, AI‑generated findings, validations, capability assessments, and feedback loops) is executed consistently across AMER partners and engagements.
Collaborate with Alliances to operationalize the AI‑generated risk and capability assessment by defining data inputs, reviewing AI‑generated project‑level findings and capability assessments, validating accuracy, and providing feedback to continuously improve the model.
Use PCMM outputs to aid Alliances in prioritization of partner‑level interventions (e.g., targeted enablement, standards coaching) and to inform partner tiering and ecosystem strategy.
Engagement Assurance
Support Delivery Assurance reviews associated with high‑risk or “too big to fail” SI‑led programs in the AMER region by gathering and analyzing inputs and coordinating stakeholder interviews and workshops
Create assessments that highlight delivery strengths and risks with clear mitigation plans, owners, timelines, and actions.
Help capture and codify lessons learned and best practices from reviews into reusable guidance for PS, Alliances, and partners.
Partner Delivery Quality & Ecosystem Performance
Work with Alliances to implement and refine partner scorecards and quality KPIs in AMER, to measure Partner standards adherence, capabilities, and performance.
Help drive partner quality improvement by sharing AMER‑specific insights, recurring pain points, examples, and improvement ideas with the broader Delivery Assurance and Alliances teams.
Support the testing and roll out new Delivery Assurance standards, templates, and tools in AMER, gathering feedback from users and partners.
Data, Reporting, and Tooling
Create and maintain Delivery Assurance dashboards and trackers for AMER (e.g., coverage, findings, resolution status, repeat themes, partner‑level patterns).
Validate reporting data for accuracy and completeness, highlighting inconsistencies and working with owning teams to correct them.
Contribute feedback on tooling, templates, and workflows to improve efficiency and usability of Delivery Assurance and PCMM processes.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Support preparation of executive‑ready materials (summary slides, dashboards, talking points) for regional governance forums and leadership updates.
Act as a reliable operational point of contact for AMER stakeholders on Delivery Assurance process questions, timelines, and expectations
KPIs & Success Metrics
Success in this role will be measured using a combination of global and regional metrics, such as:
% of eligible AMER SI‑led projects reviewed by Delivery Assurance per year
Reduction in the number of engagements where executive escalation of material risks occurs.
Improvements in partner standards adherence scores, audit pass rates, and capability assessments across AMER partners.
Improvement in on‑time / on‑budget implementations, go‑live success rate, and post‑implementation customer satisfaction for AMER SI‑led programs.
Positive qualitative feedback from regional PS leadership, Alliances, and key SI partners on the value, clarity, and fairness of Delivery Assurance engagements.

Comfort working with AI‑assisted analytics and data platforms to interpret project and partner signals and to refine models over time.
Experience organizing governance forums, audits, health checks, or risk reviews—including preparation, coordination, note‑taking, and action tracking.
Comfortable reviewing project documents (plans, status reports, RAID logs, design documents) to identify gaps or inconsistencies with guidance from senior leaders.

Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft Office).
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience working with quality programs and/or capability maturity models.
Formal training or certifications in project / program management, risk management, or governance (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, SAFe), or equivalent practical experience.
Prior involvement in quality, audit, PMO, or assurance‑type functions within a services or partner ecosystem.
Understanding of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies
