Storeperson

Our Rockhampton branch is currently looking for an experienced full-time Storeperson to join the dedicated team. We offer an industry competitive salary, genuine learning & development opportunities, and a friendly working environment that's hard to beat.

This position is 40 hours a week with the occasional Saturday morning shift required - this will be subject to additional overtime pay.

A typical day will involve

• Executing core warehousing and storeperson duties with proficiency, including loading and unloading deliveries, processing and shipping customer orders, checking goods received, booking in purchase orders, and conducting stocktakes
• Managing inventory with accuracy and efficiency, including pick packing items to order specifications
• Maintaining warehouse and showroom standards through consistent housekeeping practices
• Operating vehicles safely and courteously, adhering to all road rules and regulations at all times
• Demonstrating commitment to our strong safety culture through consistent adherence to protocols and best practices
• Delivering exceptional customer service and sales support to our diverse range of trades who are the lifeblood of the electrical industry in Australia

• Prior experience in a warehousing role is essential. We will give you all the support and in-house training needed to help you build a career and support with product knowledge.
• Enthusiastic, ambitious and have a strong desire to learn and build a career with us
• Current valid driver's licence with clean record
• Current Forklift licence desirable
• Organised, responsible and a team player.
• Physically fit and able to perform duties as required - a pre-employment medical will be required as part of the recruitment process.
