About the role:
To play a key part in our growth and expansion, we are looking for a motivated QA Test Analyst to join a growing QA team and provide critical testing support across several key products within our business, including APIs, User Interfaces, core transaction processing and customer management systems.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the development of complex software products within the Payments sector.
Reporting to the Software Development Manager, this diverse role will see you work closely with the QA team and developers in a highly agile environment.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Test design and execution including manual and automated testing.
- Conformance testing of internal and third-party applications.
About you:
This role is well suited to individuals looking to progress their QA testing career within the IT/Payments industry. While you will enjoy being part of a dynamic team, you will also exhibit the ability to operate autonomously.
Experience/ Skills required:
- Diploma / bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
- Previous experience in a QA/testing role 4+ years.
- Product development and ticketing tools (Jira).
- CD/CI pipelines and related tooling experience (Jenkins, SVN).
- Automation Testing experience (C#, SpecFlow, selenium).
- Web/API testing experience (Postman).
- Experience working with SQL (Microsoft SQL Server).
- ISTQB Foundation Certification advantageous, but not essential.
- Previous work within the payments industry highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications and requirements write ups and conduct detailed test case analysis.
- Ability to think about issues abstractly, and from multiple points of view.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and a high attention to detail.
- Competency in explaining problems concisely, both verbally and in a written format.
- A can-do attitude and flexible mind set.
This is a full-time permanent role based in Ellerslie and currently follows a hybrid policy, i.e., 3 days’ work from office and 2 days’ work from home.
