Valeo Lighting Systems
The plant produces front and rear car lights using advanced technology of metallization, assembly and plastic injection including multicomponent and multi-color injections. It also has a fully equipped measurement laboratory with a unique photometric testing tunnel. As a result of growth, Valeo Lighting Systems is currently opening a new Development Center, which focuses on developing and manufacturing lighting systems for passenger cars
Currently for Valeo Lighting Systems in Chrzanów we are looking for a Site Management Control Manager
As a Site Management Control Manager, you will lead the Controlling function at the plant, ensuring high-quality financial management, compliance with internal standards, and business performance improvement. You will act as a trusted business partner for the local management team, providing financial insights that support strategic and operational decision-making
Key responsibilities:
Manage the activity of the controlling department in order to improve the performance, the efficiency and the profitability of the company and suit the local laws and Group Valeo standards (especially MAF, IC2)
Alert immediately the Financial Controller in case of any important risk for the company and / or for its employees
Act as the key contact for designated PL/RO activities related to the GPS module and ensure its effective operation
Supervise the preparation of elements for reportings, budget, the MTP and back on track plan, provide analysis of monthly results to the management by monitoring the financial performance, and KPI (Overdues Ext. and Int, Internal Control)
Ensure accuracy of management control and costing information in the ERP system of the site
Ensure reliability of site gross margin and site below gross margin expenses during closing process
Promote, explain, control Internal Control framework within his/her perimeter. Monitor and drive Internal Control improvement plans to mitigate risks
Proposes solutions for the litigations between sites, product lines, product groups (transfer price, R&D recharges…)
Achieves on-site management control reviews
Review and pre-validate investment requests (IAR/CAA) in accordance with the approval workflow
Coordinate the analysis on Transfer price regulation
Improve constantly the knowledge of the IS module - Comp@ss day, Comp@ss Academy, GPS for his/her team
Approve E-proc requests within the assigned scope
Contribute to Group Ethics & Compliance program by applying and respecting code of Ethics and Valeo’s policies
People management: Support the professional development of the Controlling team through coaching, training, succession planning, and talent development
Join our team if have:
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
8+ years of experience in Controlling, Finance or Management Accounting within an international manufacturing environment
Previous experience in leading and developing a team
Strong knowledge of financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, costing and financial analysis
Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar) and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Multitasking ability, teamwork spirit, result orientation
Fluent English
