As a Data Manager, you will serve as a key liaison between Sponsors, internal stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of data management solutions. This role is responsible for requirements gathering, specification development, data integration oversight, reporting, and documentation, while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Sponsors and internal teams for Data Solutions data management activities
- Coordinate specifications, deliverables, and timelines in partnership with internal stakeholders
- Lead and support requirements‑gathering sessions to understand data, reporting, integration, and business needs
- Represent the Data Solutions team in client meetings, audits, and design milestone discussions
- Identify out‑of‑scope requests and escalate to Project Management and Business Development for change order review
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive communication and on‑time delivery
- Develop, document, and maintain detailed specifications for custom reports, visualizations, and outbound data integrations
- Define data mappings, transformation logic, and technical requirements
- Collaborate with Sponsors and internal teams to determine delivery methods, frequency, formats, and receiving systems (e.g., EDC platforms)
- Ensure alignment between data capture and data delivery outputs
- Prepare configuration documentation for downstream programming and validation teams
- Coordinate multiple data sources for transformation, processing, and documentation across assigned projects
- Support setup, configuration, and quality control of data platforms, including data warehouses and data lakes
- Monitor outbound integrations, troubleshoot delivery failures, and partner with technical teams to resolve issues
- Collaborate with validation teams to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and integrity
- Design custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations aligned with Sponsor needs
- Recommend appropriate visualization approaches based on data and business requirements
- Partner with Data Delivery Engineers, Software Quality Engineers, Technical Implementation Managers, Project Managers, and Business Development teams to ensure accurate implementation
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and SOP or work instruction development
- Maintain comprehensive data management documentation and ensure proper storage per company policy
- Manage Jira ticket closeout and update project dashboards to maintain workflow accuracy
What We Look For
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Management or a related role
- Strong ability to gather requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications
- Proficiency in data mapping and understanding of data structures
- Experience designing data visualizations and dashboards
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and delivery timelines
- Experience with clinical trial systems or EDC platforms preferred
- Basic SQL proficiency preferred
- Prior involvement in audits, SOP development, or process improvement initiatives a plus
