Job Description
Position Summary
The Manager of Regulatory Readiness guides and supports the system wide Regulatory Compliance process. Facilitates cross-functional PI (Performance Improvement) teams throughout the healthcare system. Supports effective decision making related to clinical, operational, and service activities. Facilitates regulatory preparation through standing committees, ongoing educations, and mentoring of internal leadership. Is accountable for all timely documentation to regulatory agencies.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or a related field
Experience
- Position requires broad diverse experience in multiple healthcare settings.
- Minimum of five years
- Management experience in a healthcare setting and has experience in quality/performance management and
statistical process control.
- Requires proficiency as presenter, teacher, facilitator, negotiator and communicator. Must be able to demonstrate strong planning organizational and computer skills
- Required experience with regulatory preparation and survey.
License/Registration/Certifications
- Current State License in area of clinical training

Core Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for all state, and federal regulatory standards and compliance excluding financial compliance.
- Serves as an internal resource on regulatory compliance.
- Responsible for liaison activities with regulatory central offices, DHEC, and SC CSR Program
- Improve Regulatory Compliance throughout the organization with standards.
- Supports the organization in becoming a quality leader.
- Serves as a resource for FMEA, RCA, and benchmarking, process re-design, and award/ certification applications.
- Supports the Patient Safety program development, compliance, and patient safety improvement initiatives
