Technology Change Management Senior Consultant

Working in partnership with assigned business areas, the Technology Change Management Senior Consultant formulates and delivers technical change management solutions that enable adoption of technology initiatives, technology skills, support AI adoptions, and modern workplace transformation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:

  • Development and execution of change management and training related to initiatives such as enterprise AI adoption, Change Champion networks, and enterprise technology skills

  • Support technology department change management, including AI transformation and IT modernization.

  • Coordinates external/vendor change management contractors as needed to align to volume of work.

  • Leads or supports change champion networks and engagement programs to drive adoption across business units.

  • Develops and manages end-user adoption strategies, including stakeholder management, message design, communications, training, and engagement plans for technology changes.

  • Creates and distributes targeted communications (leadership messages, campaigns, job aids, newsletters) to support awareness and adoption of technology initiatives.

  • Partners with business and technology stakeholders to define adoption goals, timelines, and learning strategies for key initiatives.

  • Facilitates workshops, roadshows, and training sessions to enable understanding and adoption of new tools and processes.

  • Ensuring consistent quality, messaging, and voice to the business for technology change management.

  • Develops and maintains centralized learning and communication hubs (e.g., Technology Hub, SharePoint sites) to organize training and resources.

  • Tracks and reports on adoption metrics, training engagement and program effectiveness, iterating content and approach as needed.

  • Acts as project manager for learning, communication, and change initiatives, coordinating across internal teams and external partners.

May perform additional duties as assigned.

Reporting Relationship

Typically Director or above

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Strong experience with technology change management, adoption strategies, and enterprise learning programs.

  • Expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and blended learning approaches.

  • Ability to design and deliver AI and modern workplace learning solutions for diverse audiences.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to create clear, targeted messaging for multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Ability to build trusted partnerships with business, technology, and leadership stakeholders.

  • Experience leading communications campaigns and engagement strategies for enterprise initiatives.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess adoption metrics and continuously improve programs.

  • Strong project and program management capabilities across multiple concurrent initiatives.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity and drive results in large-scale transformation environments.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, AI workflows, learning platforms, and communication channels.

  • Knowledge of OCM frameworks, stakeholder engagement, and adoption best practices.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Experience in organizational change management within a large enterprise environment, preferably supporting technology or digital transformation initiatives.

  • Typically a minimum of eight years of work experience, or educational design/development and training experience with knowledge of the insurance industry.

In certain jurisdictions, CNA is legally required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. In District of Columbia, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York and Washington, the national base pay range for this job level is $72,000 to $141,000 annually. Salary determinations are based on various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
