Reports to: Director of Operations/Valet Manager
Status: Non-exempt
Position Summary
The Valet Captain supports the Director of Operations with complete oversight and directives to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. This position will act as the main line of support for the programs and initiatives that curate superior customer service for the public and guests.
Responsibilities:
Organize and narrate parking management skills for Facilities Managers and Assistant Managers.
Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreement between our client and General Manager.
Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual financial and operational reports as required.
Serve as a liaison to parking patrons and various clientele impacted by the property’s operations.
Aid and assist the company property security team with communications with and to the local police department and emergency management teams regarding operations.
Review Flash Valet to ensure all valet curators are signed in and marking all parked and pulled

Perform a daily key and garage audit to ensure all keys are being managed properly and that all
cars are being parked appropriately and tickets are being marked correctly by the valet
attendants.
Review radio logs to verify that all curators are signing in and out for radios each day and
Make sure radios are accounted for at the beginning and end of their shifts.
Supervisors are responsible for issuing key tags to new apartment residents on duty, you stay organized by ensuring proper key handling and that guests' vehicles are always parked and retrieved with the utmost care
Maintaining a friendly and professional atmosphere is important to you, and whenever customers voice their needs or concerns, you always resolve them promptly

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
1-2 years of Valet or Professional Parking experience
2+ years in Valet and/or Parking role.
Valid Driver’s License
Knowledge Skill and Abilities.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Physical Demands:
Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 50 pounds.
Push/pull carts and other equipment up to 250 pounds.
Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4-hours in length.
Running up to 500 yards, up to 50+ times a day or more.
Entering and exiting customers’ vehicles up to 50 or more times daily
Willing to work outside in all types of weather. Shifts will not be canceled due to inclement weather
REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
Comfortable, closed-toe, non-skid shoes.
A clean driving record and have reached nineteenth (19th) birthday
With no more than one moving violation over a 2-year period
Must pass annual MVR screen
