Job Description
Purpose of the Job
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer to join HH Global as we continue a journey of growth. Our client, a renowned sports fashion retailer, is expanding in the ever-evolving retail landscape and they've entrusted us to support and enhance their in-store execution.
You will be part of the Client Services team, working closely with the Engineering Team to create technical documentation (detailed product drawings) for branded Retail Fixtures and in-Store environments and ensuring that our clients’ designs are accurately translated into detailed drawings - enabling efficient, cost-effective and high-quality production.
This role will operate on a blended basis between the local HH Global office, client / supplier site(s) and home.

Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects at once and act as a lead in the development of projects
Assist in preparation of engineering timelines and estimated costs for internal approval
Control the queue, distribute work according to internal / external capacities and deadlines
Redline revisions to existing drawings
Generate 2D drawings of approved 3D models
3D modeling and drawing of articles based on agreed solutions
Communicate and participate in weekly meetings to inform engineering and project teams about time estimates and project progress
Manage documentation and keep all technical documents properly organized
Guide and educate Junior Design Engineers in engineering techniques, procedures, and quality standards
Take ownership of one area of engineering support development (e.g. library, PDM)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of production materials and techniques - fabrication in wood, metal, fabric, electronics + plastics for Retail Fixtures and in-Store environments
Ability to sketch ideas by hand plus high proficiency in SolidWorks; knowledge of other CAD programs is a plus
Experience with assembly and installation of items such as shelving, wall panels, furniture, sculpture is a plus
Mid-level understanding of pricing for materials and fabrication
Skilled in researching and proposing solutions
Stress-resistant and focused under pressure - ability to multitask without losing focus
Proactive in seeking new knowledge (company processes, production techniques, materials, software)
Comfortable working independently and finding solutions
Open to learning and following new design trends, materials, and technologies
Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
English – fluent, suitable for professional and international communication
