ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The Premier Banking Treasury Management Consultant (TMC) serves as a trusted advisor and primary Treasury Management point of contact for assigned Premier Banking relationships. This role partners closely with Premier Banking bankers to maintain and grow an existing portfolio by identifying opportunities, developing and delivering tailored treasury solutions, and deepening product utilization and deposits. The Premier Banking TMC is accountable for pipeline management, proactive client and prospect engagement, and execution of the Treasury Management strategy while adhering to Bank policies, procedures, and risk mitigation standards to deliver an exceptional client experience.
WHAT YOU WILL DO LIST
Execute Treasury Management strategy by identifying new business opportunities across a suite of solutions to Premier Banking clients.
Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline, generate referrals for partners, and build an individual portfolio of Premier Banking client relationships. Ensure the single point of contact model and relationship organized requirements are met through the deployment of proposals and product guidelines.
Meet or exceed assigned sales goals by proactively scheduling and conducting in-person sales calls with Premier Banking clients and prospects. Participates in joint calls with the TM Sales Group Director -- Premier Banking as needed.
Increase treasury management related commercial deposits and product utilization by cross-selling the full TM product suite across Premier Banking relationships.
Develop and execute an effective sales revenue plan clearly outlining consistent activities, tactics and strategies leading to annual sales goal attainment, in coordination with, and in support of the strategy outlined by TM Sales Group Director -- Premier Banking.
Follow Bank policy, procedures and guidelines, as well as any exception or memorialized requirements for Premier Banking.
Serve as the primary Treasury Management point of contact for assigned Premier Banking relationships. Work as an embedded partner with Premier Banking to maintain and grow the existing portfolio.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trusted advisor to recommend and promote Treasury Management solutions to clients/prospects while working within the risk parameters of the Bank.
Build and develop strong business relationships with external clients and create account plans for Premier Banking clients. Conduct formal periodic reviews of existing business to identify additional TM opportunities and assess product appropriateness and re-pricing needs.
Provide timely reporting of sales activity and prospective sales opportunities in the Sales Force CRM reporting system used by the Bank.
Work with the TM Leadership to develop and introduce new Treasury Management products. Surface client feedback and market intelligence from Premier Banking clients to inform new product development.
Coach and mentor commercial lenders, branch managers and business development officers in skills necessary to improve customer calling techniques.
Work closely with Treasury Client Services, Sales Associate and Implementation colleagues to ensure smooth transition of requests.
Attain product utilization and analazed product Treasury Management sales goals as established by the TM Sales Group Director -- Premier Banking.
Convey a professional, knowledgeable and confident demeanor.
Actively engage in mentorship and development of Sales Associate staff.
Build collaborative internal relationships to develop and foster partnerships with assigned Relationship Managers, Bankers, Service and Support and other internal partners.
Represent the Bank at various industry events.
Maintain a standing presence in Premier Banking team meetings to present Treasury Management solutions, share wins, and reinforce the referral.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
Thorough knowledge and understanding of treasury management sales with a focus on the Middle Market Business and Premier/Private Banking space.
Proven outside Business Development skills and abillity to identify, engage, and secure high-value client relationships.
Demonstrated sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills along with computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Proven competency in working effectively with peer level and Senior Management where the accomplishment of shared responsibilities is imperative.
Effective time management skills through utilization of various types of communication to cover a potentially broad territory which will require travel.
