Manager, Global Privacy Compliance
Job Description
The Manager, Global Privacy Compliance, is responsible for supporting the effective operation of Manulife enterprise privacy compliance management program, including oversight of Manulife’s second line of defence privacy monitoring program. They will also support the integration and continuous improvement of the privacy program with related second line oversight functions and support the successful development, implementation and maintenance of our global privacy framework and target operating model.
Responsibilities:
• Supports the development and implementation of enterprise privacy policies, standards, and workflows
• Leads and supports program-related projects and change-related activities
• Assists senior level team members with tasks and assignments as needed
• Functions as an enterprise privacy program SME
• Represents Global Privacy on global projects and initiatives
• Coordinates and performs analysis on complex concepts that may require in-depth research and interpretation and provide sustainable solutions
• Collaborates with all areas of the organization to ensure efficient implementation and maintenance of the enterprise privacy program and operating model
• Oversee enterprise privacy control monitoring and related reporting
Job Requirements:
• University Degree and/or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of related compliance or management experience.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technology skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of the financial services industry with an advanced understanding of the Company’s businesses.
• Advanced understanding of the regulatory environment in which the Company operates and a s strong understanding of key privacy regulations
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to facilitate decision making across groups in the company
• Ability to embrace change; strong change management skills.
• Ability to analyze technical information, make appropriate recommendations to decision makers
• Influencing authority related to customer experience, compliance and operational matters

Salary range is expected to be between
$92,900.00 CAD - $142,900.00 CADEmployees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
