Job Description

Principal Accountabilities:

Demand Planner

  • Own demand planning for the Hong Kong and Macau markets across all SKUs and channels
  • Implement clear forecasting methodologies combining statistical baselines with commercial inputs (sales trends, promotions, launches, seasonality)
  • Improve forecast accuracy and bias through structured analysis, simple diagnostics, and repeatable review routines
  • Translate demand forecasts into clear volume and value implications to support rolling forecasts and latest business outlooks
  • Manage the full product life cycle, including new product launches, end‑of‑life (EOL) management, SKU harmonization, and rationalization initiatives.

Business Partner

  • Facilitate structured, pragmatic discussions with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to align on one agreed demand plan
  • Enable stakeholders to understand planning trade‑offs, assumptions, and risks without over‑engineering the process
  • Act as a neutral planning integrator, bridging commercial ambition with operational reality

Data Master

  • Establish reliable planning data foundations, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems and files
  • Develop clear, effective dashboards and analyses to support visibility and decision‑making
  • Standardise demand planning inputs, outputs, and assumptions to reduce noise and rework
  • Act as a key user and translator between business users and planning systems/tools (e.g. Anaplan, DDMRP)

Supply & Inventory Planning Oversight

  • Partner with supply planning and operations teams to ensure agreed demand plans are feasible and clearly understood
  • Monitor high‑level inventory and service indicators (e.g. coverage, excess risk, service level)
  • Highlight risks related to demand volatility, slow‑moving items, and upcoming launches, rather than owning detailed supply execution
  • Support scenario discussions for major demand shifts or business disruptions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related discipline
  • 8–12+ years of experience in supply chain planning, with a strong focus on supply chain planning.
  • Experience working in developing or mid‑maturity S&OP environments
  • Experience in FMCG, luxury, retail environments preferred.
  • Fluent English and Cantonese, Mandrin is a plus.

  • Comfortable influencing without authority and operating in ambiguity
