Job Description:
Duties and responsibilities
- Sets up equipment
- Conducts quality checks and reacts to quality issues
- Communicates/interfaces with all departments
- Assist in maintenance activities
- Use hand tools
- Operate hand pallet jack to move pallets several times per shift
- Complete daily housekeeping tasks
- Attend safety and team meetings/training
- Conduct monthly safe audits
- Other duties as assigned

- Regularly required to communicate effectively
- Attention to detail
- Frequently required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach /pull with hands and arms
- Perform repetitive tasks with high degree of accuracy.
- Required to stand continuously for 30 – 60 minutes
- Climb or balance; stoop/bend, kneel, crawl around various pieces of equipment daily
- Ascend & descend 2 steps to repair & clear jams on stretch wrap machine and also ascend & descend 3 steps to dump boxes of bands.
- Must regularly lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds from different heights.
- Lift arms over head to clean equipment daily
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Must be able to work up to twelve (12) hour shifts, days, nights, weekends, Swing shifts.
- May require additional hours beyond regularly scheduled 12 hour work day (evenings and weekends)
- Fully comply with all OSHA safety rules and regulations.
- Demonstrate the ability to follow directions
Qualifications
- High School diploma preferred. Must be able to successfully complete background check and drug screen.
