Diazyme, an affiliate of General Atomics, is a cGMP and ISO 13485 certified medical device manufacturer. Diazyme uses its proprietary enzyme technologies to develop diagnostic reagents which can be used on most automated chemistry analyzers in user-friendly formats. Their products include test kits for diagnosis of cardiovascular disease, liver disease, cancer markers, renal disease, diabetes, and electrolytes.

Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance, sales, and business development. The role maintains, processes, reviews, and compiles a variety of confidential and sensitive electronic and hard copy reports, records, statistics, timelines, tables, correspondence, and presentations, requiring tact and discretion in handling. It also provides data and information that may require explanation or interpretation. Primary contacts are within the department, with occasional interaction with management and representatives of external organizations. Detailed instructions are provided for new activities or special assignments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create and manage sales and market reports to support sales and marketing strategy, including sales data, monthly sales reports, market intelligence, and customer purchasing behavior.
  • Follow up on open projects and sales leads.
  • Arrange and book travel for the sales and marketing team.
  • Process and submit sales and travel expenses.
  • Coordinate the activities of one or more functional areas or project/business/technical units.
  • Gather, collect, record, track, and verify data and information from multiple sources.
  • Coordinate, track, and report on the progress of work assignments and projects.
  • Maintain and update a variety of confidential and sensitive electronic and hard copy reports and records.
  • Respond to routine verbal and written requests for information from internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare requested electronic and hard copy reports and presentations.
  • Observe all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations whenever business is conducted on behalf of the company.
  • Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
