Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an exceptional Principal Product Manager - Technical (PMT) to lead launch transformation initiatives. This is a builder role that will drive strategic improvements to how AWS brings innovation to market, working at the intersection of product marketing, launch operations, and cross-functional stakeholder management.

As a Principal PMT for Launch Transformation, you will own the vision and execution of transforming AWS's launch processes, products, and operational frameworks. You will work closely with AWS Service Teams, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Service and Marketing leadership to scale launch excellence across AWS's high-volume innovation pipeline. This is a high-impact role requiring deep technical understanding, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence without authority across a complex, global organization.


Key job responsibilities
- Launch Transformation Strategy: Define and execute the multi-year vision for transforming how AWS manages launches at scale, from intake through execution and measurement
- Process & Framework Design: Build scalable operational frameworks that help AWS launch new services and features efficiently while raising the bar on pace of innovation, quality, and consistency
- Tooling & Automation: Drive the product roadmap for launch management tools, incorporating automation, AI-assisted workflows, and intelligent orchestration capabilities
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with PMMs, service teams, marketing leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders globally to build the next generation launch process and drive adoption
- Metrics & Insights: Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into launch pipeline health, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an exceptional Principal Product Manager - Technical (PMT) to lead launch transformation initiatives. This is a builder role that will drive strategic improvements

- 10+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience in a direct or matrixed role leading technical and non-technical transformation project teams with a proven ability to work across broad functional teams
- Experience building scalable programs and repeatable scalable processes, levering various tools and methods to create scale and efficiency
- Deep understanding of software product lifecycle management
- Deep hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies and building AI-enabled agents and workflows

- MBA, or Advanced degree
- Experience with AWS services and cloud computing technologies
- Familiarity with launch management systems and workflow automation platforms
- Knowledge of product marketing, marketing operations, marketing technology, or marketing automation
- Experience leading organizational change management in a high-growth, technical environment

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
