Job Description
- Provides for clinical care including but not limited to acute and chronic medical and health maintenance care of adult and geriatric patients; provides after-hours coverage for urgent health care problems for health center patients on a rotational on-call basis
- Participates in the health center's Performance Improvement program and assists in the formulation and implementation of the health center's health care plan especially in internal medicine protocols
- Practices evidence-based medicine and Patient-Centered medicine.
- Proficient in using electronic health records (here) for Clinical documentation; order and review labs and radiology and clear all the tasks promptly per organizational policies.
- Maintain the required Medical Licenses, Certifications, and Credentials that are required
Education:
- MD I DO from an Accredited University
- Completed ACGME Accredited Residency Training in Internal Medicine
- Board Eligible or Board Certified as an Internist licensed to practice in the State of Missouri
- Effective clinical and communication skills
- Must have Reliable Transportation
Additional Information:
- Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
