Farm Coordinator
Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly
Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is $16.25–$22.75 per hour. Actual pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.

Job Summary
The Farm Lead supports daily farm operations by maintaining equipment documentation, overseeing supplies and inventory, assisting supervisors and managers, and contributing to safety improvement projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and proficiency with basic computer programs such as Excel and Word.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily upkeep and organization of farm equipment, documentation, supplies, and farm property.
Assist with safety improvement projects, including documentation, tracking corrective actions, and supporting safe work practices.
Maintain accurate preventative maintenance records and ensure documentation is completed, organized, and up to date.
Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills to support efficient daily operations.
Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for recordkeeping, reporting, inventory tracking, and documentation.
Order farm inventory and supplies as needed to support daily operations.
Assist supervisors with samples, supply coordination, errands, and related support tasks.
Work closely with the Farm Manager, Assistant Manager, and Supervisors to support farm goals and priorities.
Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
Good work history with demonstrated employment stability (minimum of 1 year in previous or internal position).

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Good math skills to perform inventory management and recordkeeping tasks.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements
Must be in good physical condition and able to wear eye protection, respiratory protection, and all required safety equipment for extended periods.
Ability to occasionally to frequently twist, stoop, bend, squat, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
