What will you do?
The School of Engineering and Sciences is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join our team at Monterrey Campus, focusing on groundbreaking research in microfluidics, electrochemistry, electronics, physics, and/or related interdisciplinary areas. The postdoctoral fellow will collaborate with leading faculty, including Faculty of Excellence Professor Marc Madou, to advance research projects in areas such as innovative sensing and biomedical technologies.
Your main challenges will be:
• To develop and execute research projects related to microfluidics, electrochemical sensing, and wearable biosensors.
• To collaborate in the design and characterization of carbon-based electrochemical and microfluidic systems.
• To participate in multidisciplinary research involving electronics, materials science, and analytical chemistry.• To contribute to scientific manuscript preparation, conference participation, and funding proposals.
• To mentor undergraduate and graduate students involved in research activities.
• To support collaborations with national and international research groups.
• To contribute to the development of innovative healthcare and sensing technologies.
What are we looking for?
- • PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, or related fields.
• Strong background in microfluidics, electrochemistry, electronics, or carbon-based sensing systems.
• Experience in interdisciplinary scientific research and experimental characterization.• Scientific writing experience and publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments.
• Spanish proficiency is highly desirable.
