Job description
Key Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation & Delivery
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum principles and best practices
- Support incremental delivery aligned with business priorities and sprint commitments
- Drive continuous improvement within the team
Team Enablement
- Remove impediments that block team progress
- Foster a collaborative, self-organizing team environment
- Coach team members on Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Track and improve team velocity and sprint outcomes
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as a bridge between Product Owners, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders
- Ensure clear communication of priorities, risks, and progress
- Support backlog refinement and ensure user stories are well-defined and actionable
Project Governance (T&M Model)
- Ensure transparency in effort tracking, sprint outputs, and resource utilization
- Collaborate with delivery managers for reporting and forecasting
- Monitor scope, timelines, and risks in a flexible T&M setup
Technical & Platform Awareness
Understand system architecture involving:
- AWS cloud infrastructure
- Web portal and API integrations
- Personal Data Store (PDS) handling sensitive identity data
Work closely with engineering teams to align Agile delivery with technical dependencies
Risk & Quality Management
- Identify risks early and facilitate mitigation strategies
- Promote quality-first mindset (Definition of Done, testing practices, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with security and privacy requirements (especially for biometric data)
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Skills
- Strong experience as a Scrum Master (3–7+ years) in Agile environments
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM / PSM or equivalent preferred)
- Proven experience managing Agile projects in T&M engagement models
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Technical Understanding
- Familiarity with AWS cloud ecosystem
- Experience with API-driven architectures and web applications
- Understanding of identity management, authentication systems, or security platforms is a plus
- Prior exposure to biometric or personal data systems is highly desirable
Tools & Practices
- Experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and modern delivery pipelines
- Familiarity with metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and cycle time
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership and coaching mindset
- Problem-solving and proactive decision-making
- Ability to manage distributed teams and cross-cultural environments
- High accountability and adaptability in a dynamic project setup
Nice to Have
- Experience working in Bto/BtoC platforms
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, etc.)
- Experience in identity, fintech, or authentication domains
