Schedule: Full-Time Days (40 hrs/week)

What You'll Do

The Central Services Scheduling Coordinator supports daily operations for Central Services by building and maintaining staff schedules, coordinating coverage, education to staff and organization and managing schedule changes. This role works closely with revenue cycle, ancillary leaders and hospital departments to ensure appropriate staffing levels, support service continuity, and maintain accurate timekeeping and scheduling records.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Ability to perform all responsibilities of the scheduler as needed to ensure continuous scheduling coverage.

  • 1+ year of scheduling, administrative support, or clerical experience (healthcare or service operations preferred).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and ability to learn new systems quickly.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong customer service skills and professional communication (phone, email, and in-person).

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in a hospital Procedural or Surgical Services, or Physician Office Scheduling.

  • Experience using workforce scheduling and/or timekeeping systems (e.g., Workday or similar).

  • Intermediate Excel skills (sorting/filtering, simple formulas, and reporting).

  • Knowledge of staffing matrices.
