Job Description

About the Team The Livestream Team is committed to creating real-time interactive scenes, As a new form of content, Livestream creates value for all parties in the ecology. Livestream provides users with a unique consumption experience and further generalizes content. It is also a new way of employment to provide more direct fan interaction and deepen relationships with authors; It provides an objective revenue to the platform and promotes content exclusivity. It also serves as a "new infrastructure" for expanding ecological boundaries and create a strong user experience journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide business insights through a combination of analytics and assessments, issue research, relevant experience, and other innovative methods, to make clear and actionable recommendations for business decisions.
  • Conduct issue and creator behaviour research to understand policy's impacts on TikTok users and LIVE ecosystem.
  • Identify optimization areas in existing policies, products, or processes with a deep understanding of TikTok LIVE content and monetization business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders at a global level (Product, Engineers, Ops, DS, Legal, GR/PR etc.) to develop scalable solutions and long-term strategies, as well as work towards consensus across the organization.
  • Monitor and identify risks by continuously monitoring the platform for potential risks and harmful content by issue and market.
  • Perform in-depth investigations into controversial content and creator behaviours to assess risk levels.
  • Apply both quantitative tools and qualitative methods to detect patterns and predict potential risks.
  • Analyze identified risks and develop effective solutions to mitigate them.
  • Work closely with content moderation, policy development, and product teams to implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of content governance policies.
  • Ensure all policies meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collect and integrate feedback from users and stakeholders to improve policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in internet governance direction.
  • Basic data analysis skills (SQL) to support decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with live-streaming platforms (or content platform) and/ or TikTok LIVE’s creator community is a plus.
  • Passion for live-streaming, content/community governance, and trust & safety in digital platforms.
  • A self-motivated and detail-oriented approach, with a strong sense of ownership in driving projects forward.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and tackle real-time governance challenges.
