Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Manage and control regulated chemical precursors within the site, ensuring full regulatory compliance
- Act as the designated health authority representative before COFEPRIS (Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risk)
- Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to regulated materials handling
- Supervise storage practices of regulated materials in accordance with applicable health regulations
- Ensure proper management and daily updates of COFEPRIS-authorized control books, including verification and signature of movements
- Perform monthly reconciliation between physical inventory and official control records
- Conduct periodic audits related to regulated materials, including Ethylic Alcohol controls
- Support and participate in regulatory inspections and verification visits conducted by COFEPRIS
- Prepare annual balances and reports of regulated materials for submission to COFEPRIS
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience managing regulated chemical substances or working in regulated environments
- Knowledge of Mexican regulatory requirements related to controlled chemical substances
- Experience in documentation control, compliance processes, and audit readiness
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive documentation
- Knowledge of inventory control and reconciliation processes
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact with regulatory authorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word)
- Intermediate English proficiency (required)
