Principal Accountabilities
Partner with IP&E leadership and senior leaders, in both other Arrow sales organisations and Functions, across the Greater China and South Asia, Korea, and Japan regions.
Provide support to the Global IP&E organization enabling the delivery of global goals.
Drive the delivery of all financial and business planning and forecasting needs for the Greater China and South Asia, Korea, and Japan regions and globally for the IP&E sales organization.
Lead the annual planning and budgeting processes to provide valuable insights and support executive decision making.
Participate and assume a leadership role in finance initiatives and projects.
Design, pilot, implement new operational and financial models for key supplier and customer initiatives.
Direct and participate in cost analysis and margin studies.
Develop ways to continually improve processes and drive efficiency within the organization.
Ensure the preparation and presentation of comprehensive financial reporting including but not limited to monthly/quarterly and annual financial statements, trends and KPI’s.
Have a strong understanding of the business environment and be able to translate issues and opportunities into financial outcomes.
Define and manage consolidations as well as all finance related processes. Lead due diligence in efforts related to mergers/acquisitions, as needed.
Coordinate information exchange and monitor conversion testing. Review specific merger related accounting tasks to ensure purchase transactions/entities are properly accounted for.
Work with and influence cross functional teams globally.
Oversee the research of complex GAAP issues escalated from Managers and staff; provide direction on technical accounting matters.
Ensure compliance with country legislation as well as corporate and regional policies and procedures. Ensure the accuracy of the balance sheet and P&L for all Greater China and South Asia, Korea, and Japan businesses and meet all accounting and reporting deadlines.
Directs internal audits and SOX audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
Build and lead a high performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Job Complexity
Provides leadership and direction through Senior Managers and Managers and/or may manage large, potentially diverse teams of managers and/or senior professionals.
Responsible for the performance and results of multiple related units, a medium-sized discipline or department within a region, related disciplines or a medium-sized function in medium-sized division.
Develop departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities.
Controls resources and policy formation in area of responsibility.
Decisions are guided by resource availability and functional objectives.
Looks beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems.
Develop plans and deliver results in fast-changing businesses and/or regulatory environments.
Provides input to functional or departmental strategy.
Experience / Education
Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 12 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
Must be proficient in English and be able to communicate effectively (both written and spoken).
Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and GAAP.
Experience in a global or large multi-national company preferred.
Extensive team leadership experience.
Strong financial modeling and analysis skills with a track record of driving success and achieving financial goals.
