Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and driven EHS Professional to join our team in Chandler, AZ. In this role, you’ll be a key player in promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. You’ll lead the implementation of EHS programs, support compliance efforts, and provide hands-on safety support across our operations.
In this role you will:
Champion a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all regulatory and Arconic standards.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for regulatory and site specific safety and environmental policies.
Provide daily floor support to identify and mitigate safety risks.
Lead and support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Develop and deliver impactful EHS training sessions.
Collaborate with leadership to coach and mentor teams on EHS best practices.
Participate in new equipment and facility reviews to ensure safety is built into every project.
Analyze EHS data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
Oversee all environmental issues such as:
Managing wastes
Completion and submission of site Tie II and Form R reporting
Stormwater discharge monitoring
Regular facility inspections
Any other environmental site activities on an ad hoc basis
Travel
Less than 5%
Basic Qualifications
3–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on safety.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Qualified candidate must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the relevant government agency. Business demands may require employer to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Experience working in a union environment.
Familiarity with Behavioral-Based or Human Performance Safety Systems.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with limited on-site direction
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS data analysis tools.
Proven ability to lead training, coach teams, and resolve conflicts.
Experience conducting accident investigations and implementing root cause solutions.
