In this Home Lending Specialist role, you’ll support customers through some of their most important financial decisions while building your capability as a lender. You’ll work across purchasing, refinancing and everyday lending needs, delivering tailored solutions and guiding customers confidently through the home buying journey.
With a strong focus on business development, you’ll build your presence in the Roselands area, connect with the local community and grow your lending pipeline through genuine customer conversations and referral partnerships. You’ll be part of a branch that plays a key role in the local area - supporting a diverse customer base with a wide range of lending needs.
Working closely with your branch team and specialist partners, you’ll manage lending applications end-to-end and play a key role in delivering practical, timely outcomes for your customers.

As a Home Lending Specialist, you’ll be highly visible in the branch and out in the local community, building trusted relationships with customers and colleagues. You’ll grow your confidence in generating opportunities, building referral pathways and becoming a go-to lender within the branch.
You’ll be supported to build your profile, develop your lending capability and play an active role in driving growth in a busy, community-focused branch.
What you'll be doing
Building your lending pipeline through strong branch presence, customer conversations and local community engagement
Supporting customers through the home buying journey with tailored lending solutions and great service
Leading lending conversations to understand customer needs and identify the right solutions
Managing lending applications end-to-end, with support on more complex scenarios
Developing referral relationships both inside and outside the branch, including local networks
Partnering closely with branch colleagues and specialist teams to deliver seamless customer outcomes
Ensuring all applications meet credit policy, regulatory and responsible lending requirements
Contributing to a positive team culture and the ongoing success of the branch
What we’re looking for
Experience in a customer-facing or banking role, with an interest in home lending
A proactive mindset and genuine interest in building relationships in the local community
Confidence engaging customers in the branch and identifying lending opportunities through conversation
Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport with a diverse customer base
A willingness to develop your lending capability, including credit knowledge and policy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organised in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and commitment to compliance and quality outcomes
