Sterilization Manager Gas EAS
The Sterilization Manager – Gas EAS has primary global responsibility for Gas validations performed by the Sterigenics Scientist team.
The Sterilization Manager - EAS reports to Director Gas EAS.
Direct reports to the Sterilization Manager are Gas Scientists.
- Travel will be required
- Home office or facility based as agreed with Management
Responsibilities
The Sterilization Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Sterigenics Validation program globally. More specifically, they will have the following key responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the Gas Scientist staff
- Responsible for tracking workload and ensure appropriate balance across the group
- Responsible for ensuring department goals and metrics are achieved
- Along with the Gas validation staff, assist in customer and internal support for validation related questions and challenges
- Develop and implement appropriate training and development tools for Sterigenics corporate and facility validation teams
- Ensure team participation in the Scientific Communities of Practice, including setting project goals for team members
- Understanding of regulatory standards for Gas sterilization, particularly as related to validation.
- Demonstrate leadership and participate in applicable ISO committees related to Gas processing.
- Monitor the costs associated with the project as quoted and inform Sales when quote amount is exceeded
Education / Experience (Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities)
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline such as Engineering or Science;
- Ten or more years of industry experience, with specific experience in validation.
- Detailed knowledge of ISO standards related to EO processing.
- Good Project Management skills
