Simulation Technician, College of Nursing (On-Call) (Tucson, AZ) (Multiple Positions)

Simulation Laboratory Setup and Breakdown: Prepare clinical laboratory environments, including setting up and taking down healthcare simulation mannequins. Set up and take down skills practice, remediation, and testing environments. Ensure compliance with fire codes, disability guidelines, and regulatory requirements when setting up equipment and rooms. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to FERPA regulations. Ensure adherence to institutional safety and compliance standards. Inventory Equipment Management: Restock and organize supplies and carts across simulation areas. Prepare student laboratory kits and assist with receiving and inventory. Manage consumable supplies and durable resources, including minor repairs and preventative maintenance. Technical Operational Support: Utilize simulation hardware and software, including VR headsets, gaming computers, PCs, and manikin operations. Assist with operating simulators during educational activities. Maintain general cleanliness and functionality of equipment. Faculty, Student, and Event Support: Support faculty and staff during planning, trailing, and running of simulations. Work with students, volunteers, and student workers. Assist with simulation center tours and events.
