Broadband Engineering Consultant

Michael Baker International is seeking a Broadband Program Consultant to join our Broadband Practice in a remote capacity. This role supports state broadband offices, municipalities, and other public-sector clients by delivering technical advisory, broadband data analysis, GIS-based evaluation, and network validation services. You will review and evaluate broadband network designs and ISP-submitted documentation, analyze serviceability and deployment datasets, and develop defensible technical recommendations that directly inform funding decisions, compliance determinations, and broadband program strategy under initiatives such as IIJA, BEAD, and the Capital Projects Fund.
