Your tasks

  • Carries out and ensures the exact and timely fulfillment of allocated tasks, respecting the principles and rules in force, in an efficient manner.
  • Proposes ideas for improving the department's activity, finds new solutions in accordance with the team's objectives and business requirements.
  • Supports internal activities concerning the regular maintenance of procedures, training materials, and work instructions specific to customer accounting.
  • Performs accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities.
  • Ensures internal controls and compliance regarding accounting and financial processes (e.g., compliance with the end-to-end customer accounting process).
  • Contributes to projects and initiatives for improving the department's activities.
  • Prepares accurate and timely monthly reporting packages; provides assistance for audit requirements.
  • Provides support for the requirements of stakeholders and internal/external customers.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Financial/ Accounting
  • Relevant professional experience: 3-5 years
  • Advanced knowledge of the English language.
  • Good knowledge and skills in using the Microsoft Office package.
  • Good knowledge and application of SAP transactions related to the team's activity and general knowledge of SAP transactions applicable at the department level.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of related legislation/regulations and internal rules/regulations.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the specific business of exploration and production, refining & marketing, gas & energy, and their requirements.
  • Good knowledge of finance and accounting, as well as of principles applied in the oil and gas industry.
