We are Drag Me, a tech startup celebrating and empowering the drag community. We are dedicated to creating innovative digital solutions that showcase the artistry and creativity of drag performers, queens, and kings worldwide. Our mission is to provide a platform where drag culture can thrive and shine.
We're passionate about making drag more accessible to the community and sustainable as a full-time career for performers. As a member of the Drag Me team, you will have the chance to be part of an exciting QueerTech start-up that directly helps drag performers and the 2SLGBTQIA* community. Your contribution will help to propel change and open up more economic opportunities for the 2SLGBTQIA* community.
IMPORTANT NOTE
We will likely be hiring current students or recent graduates for several of our roles. We're bootstrapped and may be using government grants to make this position work.
WHO YOU ARE
- You have strong experience with collaboration, communication, and compassion. If you happen to love drag – jackpot!
- You have empathy for the lived experience of others, helping to co-create a psychologically safe environment for underrepresented groups, especially
- Your friends describe you as a “locked vault” - privacy and confidentiality are in your nature
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues within your discipline and developing solutions that are in the best interest of the company and our people
- Collaborating is your jam, but you don’t mind flying solo when necessary
WHAT THE JOB INVOLVES
- You will be part of a cross-functional team of professionals; cross-collaboration, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude are key
