A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a senior planner at MKS Inc, you will partner with BU, Sales, Operations team, Procurement, Purchasing and Contract Manufacturer to ensure smooth production and shipment execution to meet customer demand. In this role, you will report to the Senior Planning & Logistics Manager.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain strong working relationships with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) to ensure smooth production and shipment execution.
- Monitor CM production plans, capacity, and output to meet customer demand and shipment commitments.
- Manage CM performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Drive demand and supply planning processes in collaboration with Business Units (BU).
- Execute purchase order (PO) management and planning activities with SAP.
- Manage inventory levels, including excess & obsolete (E&O), and drive mitigation actions.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth operational execution.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on program status, performance metrics, and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve planning processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in supply planning and contract manufacturer management, preferably in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, Power Query, data modeling)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix environment
- Willingness to travel for supplier/CM engagement
