V&V Lead- Automation Testing
Job Description
Role Summary / Purpose
As a Verification & Validation (V&V) Lead within the Fleet Solutions team, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end V&V strategy, planning, execution, governance, and compliance in alignment with Quality Management System (QMS) standards, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and reliable product releases.
With 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, V&V, and Test Automation, you will lead release planning, effort estimation, execution oversight, and formal validation closure activities across multiple programs. You will work closely with Product Management, Program Leadership, Architects, Development, LSD, and V&V teams to define and execute comprehensive validation strategies for multimodality Cloud SaaS solutions.
The role requires strong leadership in defining and monitoring quality KPIs, including defect leakage, automation coverage, execution efficiency, and release readiness metrics, while actively championing Shift-Left testing practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
A key responsibility will be leading the organization's test automation strategy, with a strong focus on Playwright and TypeScript-based automation frameworks. You will provide technical leadership in designing, implementing, reviewing, and continuously improving scalable automation solutions covering UI, front-end, API, integration, and end-to-end testing. The role demands hands-on expertise in modern web application testing, automation framework architecture, CI/CD integration, and Agile quality engineering practices.
Additionally, you will mentor and guide engineering teams in adopting best-in-class automation approaches, leveraging modern technologies and GenAI-enabled tools to improve productivity, quality, and test coverage across the product portfolio. Your experience in cloud-based applications, system-level testing, Linux environments, and modern automation practices will be instrumental in driving continuous quality improvements and ensuring successful product delivery.
