
Director of MRO Sales
Job Description
Summary and Objective
Will drive to increase company revenue by identifying profitable business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies.

Building solid relationships with customers, vendors, and distributors, as well as sales and marketing teams.

Act as the main interface with the customers.

Works with the Director of MRO to ensure customer schedules and expectations are met.

Execute or assist in preparation and execution of copies of contracts and subcontracts, including exhibits and attachments; ensure all contract and subcontract auxiliary documents, such as insurance certificates and bonds, are provided.

Manage change order process, e.g., work with Program Managers and Maintenance Admins to determine the need for change orders; negotiate, draft and secure signatures on change order.

Participate in meetings related to contract formation and performance.

Participate in marketing conferences and industry events.

Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.

Directing marketing efforts by presenting market research to MRO directors and suggesting strategies to expand market research.

Assessing marketing, sales, supplier and vendor operations and recommending improvements as needed.

Preparing all documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs).

Researching emerging trends and recommending new company offerings to satisfy customers needs.

Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow businesses.

Presenting business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management.

Required education and experience
-
Associate degree in Aviation, Business, Aerospace, or related discipline preferred.

Minimum of 5–10 years of proven experience selling aviation-related products or services.

Demonstrated customer service, business development, sales, and marketing experience, with excellent interpersonal skills.

Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship.
