Who we are looking for
We are looking for ambitious and career oriented graduates with good analytical skills and conversant with Reconciliation concepts & numbers. The main function of the role is to ensure accurate reconciliation of client portfolios vs custody / fund accouting accounting records and operationally support all Investment Management teams in their respective roles.
What you will be responsible for
As an Associate, you will be responsible for..
- Ensuring all daily cash and security reconciliations are completed accurately.
- Act as the liaison between portfolio management teams, custodians, brokers and clients.
- Reconcile portfolios and resolve all discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Works on assignments or funds with minimal supervision. Follows general procedures. Requires minimal rework.
- Maintains a working knowledge of relevant systems.
- Acts as a team player/contributor.
- Informs manager of potential issues on a timely basis.
- Meeting all stated Service Level Expectations.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- MBA finance / B.com as an educational qualification
- Knowledge of investment accounting
- 2 years’ Custody & Accounting experience on related investments is an added advantage.

- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet internal and industry deadlines.
- Strong problem resolution skills

Who we are looking for
The successful candidate must demonstrate continues improvement mindset, be a strong, decisive, results oriented individual who can develop and manage relationships across the company and with a wide variety of partners, based on trust, teamwork, and knowledge.
A highly skilled Reconciliation Subject Matter Expert (SME) and First line supervisors with extensive knowledge in Custody and Fund Services with people management experience. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth understanding of the end-to-end processes of Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, ETFs, and other investment vehicles. They should be proficient in multiple asset classes including derivatives, bank loans, fixed income, OTC products, etc., and have a deep understanding of their life cycles.
What you will be responsible for
- Oversee and review Daily Reconciliation deliverables for responsible unit/client
- Drive Reconciliation process excellence though proactive management of the exception lifecycle
- Responsible for service delivery and client sentiment, including internal functional contact.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in reconciliation processes and contribute to the development and enhancement of reconciliation systems and tools. Improving auto match and auto coding rate through available Recon tool.
- Support a strong risk management and control environment.

- Hands-on experience with reconciliation tools like TLP/IntelliMatch and proficiency in manual reconciliation processes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to audiences of different sizes and levels of seniority
- Must be self-motivated, adaptable and show initiative in different circumstances and under pressure
- Good team working skills and Flexibility in working outside of your responsibilities and areas of expertise
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification (CFA, CPA, etc.) is a plus.
- 6-10 yrs. of experience in reconciliation operations within the Custody and Fund Accounting domain.
- Profound knowledge of multiple asset classes and their life cycles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
