Service Technician

We are seeking a Service Technician to join our maintenance team at a 268-unit apartment community in Coraopolis, PA. As a Service Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the community, completing service requests, preparing apartment homes for new residents, and helping ensure the property remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained. As a Service Technician, you will be expected to: Complete service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner. Diagnose and perform repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance. Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents, including repairs, cleaning, and make-ready activities. Assist with maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, common areas, and amenities. Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance concerns before they become larger issues. Assist with snow removal, salting, and severe weather preparation when required. Work closely with fellow team members and office staff to provide an outstanding resident experience. Compensation & Incentives: Base Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Up to 50% Rent Discount Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions Morgan Essentials: $300 Quarterly On-Call Appreciation: $15 Per Day for Holding the On-Call Phone Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match Generous Paid Time Off, Including 10 Holidays and Sick Leave Career Growth Opportunities Within a Nationally Recognized Organization Hours & Schedule: Full-Time Position Paid rotating on-call participation required Must be available for emergency events, snow removal, and severe weather response Overtime opportunities may be available based on business needs What We'll Expect From You: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation One or more years of maintenance, construction, trades, or related experience preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, or general maintenance preferred. Strong customer service skills and commitment to resident satisfaction.
