TITLE: Technology Support Professional
REPORTS TO: Superintendent
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve-month position. Salary and benefits established by the
Board of Education.
PENSION: Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF)
JOB GOAL: To provide comprehensive technology support and digital communications services that ensure the effective operation, integration, and use of instructional and administrative technology systems across the District, while delivering responsive customer service to staff and students and supporting the District's educational and operational goals.
SALARY RANGE: $40,000 - $45,000; salary is commensurate with experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Information Systems, Education Technology, or related field preferred
? Strong technical understanding of various hardware, software systems, and cloud-based applications
? Experience supporting educational technology platforms preferred
? Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally
? Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
? Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
? Must project a positive image of the District to staff, students, parents, and community members while maintaining a positive and professional attitude

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair computer systems, mobile devices, peripherals, and classroom technology equipment
2. Configure computers, devices, and user accounts for staff and students
3. Support and maintain computer operating systems and software application
4. Assist with management and support of educational software platforms, including
Teacher Ease and Embrace IEP systems
5. Provide website management support, including updating district and school web content
6. Manage Zoom user accounts and assist staff with virtual meeting support
7. Coordinate district social media communications and digital content distribution
8. Assist with creation, formatting, and distribution of district newsletters and other communications materials
9. Create and edit digital media for instructional and district use
10. Support the integration and effective use of technology within classrooms and district buildings
11. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair classroom audio/visual equipment and learning environments
12. Perform audio visual setups and maintenance for meetings, presentations, and district events
13. Provide technical assistance and customer support to district staff and students
14. Other duties as assigned by District Administration
