Overview About the role This is a rare opportunity to work at the centre of Adobe’s mobile growth strategy across APAC, partnering with one of the most sophisticated and forward‑thinking digital brands in the world

Adobe is a business that truly understands the power of mobile

With significant, sustained investment in mobile app marketing across multiple products, mobile is not a test channel or bolt‑on - it is a core pillar of Adobe’s performance and growth strategy

The work spans always‑on user acquisition, major campaign bursts, and long‑term audience and product growth, supported by substantial, multi‑market investment and senior stakeholder attention

As Performance Planning Manager (Mobile Apps), you'll work closely with Adobe, who value strategic thinking, rigour, and partnership - and who expect their agency to help lead the conversation, not just execute instructions

This is an incredible opportunity to drive growth and change on a fast-growing, game-changing Publicis Media client, combining strategic thinking with strong hands-on expertise to drive the growth and visibility of Adobe mobile app campaigns

This role requires a deep understanding of performance marketing channels, user acquisition strategies and some knowledge of app store ecosystems (iOS and Android)

You’ll be responsible for planning paid media campaigns that increase app downloads, drive ROI, and encourage long-term user retention through paid efforts

The ideal candidate is a hybrid thinker: someone who can define and scale performance marketing strategies while also rolling up their sleeves to troubleshoot and optimise campaigns when needed

You will act as a trusted partner to your clients, providing clarity, confidence and forward planning

You’ll have the autonomy to shape standards, influence conversations, and build a scalable approach that will be felt across markets

If you’re motivated by working on a world‑class brand, enjoy partnering with smart, engaged clients, and want your expertise in mobile to genuinely matter, this role offers both impact and career momentum in equal measure

What you will do with us: Lead performance strategy for a category-leading client - Own and evolve the mobile app marketing strategy across iOS and Android - shaping how a global brand drives acquisition, engagement, and long-term value through paid and owned channels

Develop media strategies across search (Apple Ads, Google UAC), social and display - grounded in audience insight, clear objectives, and full-funnel thinking from install through to retention

Build and optimise campaign structures, targeting approaches, creative testing frameworks and bidding strategies to deliver against key metrics including CPI, ROAS and lifetime value

Map and continuously refine the user journey across acquisition, engagement and retention - identifying opportunities to unlock growth across every stage

Ensure mobile activity is fully connected to broader digital campaigns - driving consistency across app stores, search, social, display and owned ecosystems

Guide mobile app planning - challenging thinking, and elevating output across a multi-disciplinary group of specialists

Partner with strategy, activation, analytics, creative and client teams to deliver cohesive, insight-led marketing solutions aligned to broader business goals

Analyse performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement data-led optimisations to maximise ROI and drive continuous improvement

Define conversion frameworks, ensure robust tracking, and lead structured testing programmes (A/B, creative, messaging) to unlock incremental growth

Identify emerging trends, platforms and growth opportunities while upskilling teams and embedding best practice across mobile marketing

What You’ll Bring: 3+ years' experience in planning performance marketing campaigns - including some experience working in mobile app marketing or performance‑led digital roles

Hands-on experience in planning or running app install campaigns across Apple Ads, Google UAC, Meta, TikTok, and other digital platforms

Experience with MMPs, mobile attribution, and event tracking

Analytical mindset with ability to turn data into actionable insights

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment

Working knowledge of iOS and Android ecosystems, including app store dynamics, platform constraints, and the impact of privacy and policy changes on planning

Experience planning and optimising performance‑led mobile activity across channels such as paid social, app campaigns, programmatic, and/or search

Confidence reviewing performance outputs, identifying risks and opportunities, and connecting results back to agreed objectives and investment decisions

Strong client communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity, influence decisions, and build trust with senior stakeholders

A practical, solutions‑focused mindset - able to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on problem‑solving when needed

Curiosity and adaptability in a fast‑changing mobile landscape, with the confidence to evolve thinking as platforms, measurement, and user behaviour shift

A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute a strong vision for your clients

Excellent attention to detail – you’re super organised, and can manage multiple priorities with precision and confidence, and know when to escalate issues promptly

A collaborative mindset - You work effectively and constructively with multi-disciplinary teams to turn ideas into action and contribute to award-worthy work
