Job Description

Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and drive sales strategies for the CASA-RL SALES division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management and a deep understanding of the banking industry.

 

As the Sales Manager for CASA-RL SALES, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sales plans to achieve business targets. You will lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success. Your responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and maintaining a deep understanding of market trends and competitor activities.

 

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing effective guidance and performance management.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets and revenue goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the banking industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to make informed sales decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales reports and analytics to the management, highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Mentor and train sales team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in sales techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies in the banking sector.
  • Represent the bank at industry events and conferences to promote the brand and establish new connections.

 

Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record in the banking industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
  • Deep understanding of sales strategies and techniques, including sales forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
