Consultant-MECR

This consultancy will assess Sri Lanka’s existing data systems, tools, institutional arrangements and coordination mechanisms related to disaster-related mobility, including displacement, migration, return, planned relocation and longer-term mobility trends linked to climate change and disasters. The assignment will build on existing government-led disaster data systems and examine how data is collected, shared and used from local to national level, with a focus on identifying practical opportunities to strengthen harmonization, interoperability and evidence-based decision-making. The findings will support improved preparedness, response planning, anticipatory action and policy development on climate mobility in Sri Lanka.
