Full-Time Day Shift Technician
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
What You'll Do
As a valued member of our medical team, you'll play a direct role in patient care, treatment, diagnostics, and client support.
Responsibilities include:
- Emergency and urgent care patient support
- Hospitalized and critical care case management
- IV catheter placement and venipuncture
- Patient triage and assessment
- Anesthesia monitoring and recovery
- Diagnostic testing and sample collection
- Treatment administration and nursing care
- Client communication during stressful situations
- Electronic medical record documentation
- Collaboration with veterinarians and fellow technicians to deliver exceptional patient care

What We’re Looking For
- This is not an entry-level position
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on veterinary clinical experience required
- Prior experience in emergency, critical care, specialty, or high-volume general practice strongly preferred
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred, but highly skilled Veterinary Assistants with advanced technical abilities will be considered
- Demonstrated proficiency in:
- Patient restraint and handling in high-stress situations
- IV catheter placement and venipuncture
- Anesthetic monitoring and post-operative recovery
- Emergency protocols and multitasking under pressure
- Experience with veterinary PIMS and electronic medical records
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional during trauma cases and overnight surges
- Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis
