Job Description

The Asia Pacific (APAC) Field Performance & Insights (FP&I) team within ICS acts as trusted advisors to leaders in the organization by providing data-driven insights to drive profitable growth, improve efficiency, and ensure robust governance. The team uses a central and comprehensive view of strategies and initiatives, as well as relationships with many regional and functional partners, to provide analysis and insights, performance management solutions and strategic recommendations for senior leaders.
The Sales Analyst position is responsible for supporting the Sales behavior governance, Sales performance management & analysis for the ICS business across the APAC region. The position reports to the FP&I APAC Sales Manager.
Create Sales performance dashboard and analysis spanning all markets within the region. Expectations include:
Streamline and simplify all relevant processes pertaining to Sales performance reporting/dashboards
Development and production of Sales performance reporting/dashboards
Frequent modeling and deep dive analysis
Ensuring dashboard quality and consistency
Provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders as required
Supporting projects & processes in areas such as:
Supporting Global, International & Regional initiatives
Supporting in monthly Headcount files and Targets management processes
Supporting regional Sales planning & forecasting processes
Managing the testing and creation of appropriate supporting for the FP&I APAC owned control procedures.
Annual individual and leader target setting
Annual scorecard design & alignment
Colleague engagement
Dashboard creation and maintenance
Partnering with key stakeholders such as senior market leaders, business planners, analysts, technology and other business partners
- Ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timeliness in all activities and compliance with American Express Information Security Standards.
Tertiary qualification required (Finance, Accounting or similar)
Advanced technical skills in SQL, Python and Excel required
PowerPoint, Tableau and/or PowerBI skills
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
Attention to detail and commitment to quality are crucial
Effective communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization
A team-first collaborative attitude is essential
