Job Description
In this role you will:
- Implement and handle Vanguard's rebate processes for international investors. This processes involves contract and agreement updates, client level calculations and payments to investors.
- Liaise with client service teams on a regular basis to effectively respond to changing client demands. Act as the primary liaison with various transfer agents for Vanguard's European funds and communicates payment instructions.
- Support a range of accounting duties, including month-end processes, and assisting supervisors and managers with investigating items.
- Support the Accounts Payable process.
- Work with other teams across finance to assist in gathering and analysis of financial data.
- Maintain and update policies and procedures in line with standard methodology.
- Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Support the financial control team in daily activity and endeavours.
What it takes:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Excellent technical skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective working relationships across multiple areas within the business
- Ability to work within strict monthly deadlines, responding quickly to inquiries and taking appropriate action
- Ability to apply technical and process knowledge to develop, communicate, and implement operational improvements
- Eagerness to learn and adapt
- Fundamental knowledge of accounting and financial concepts
