JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will include, but is not limited to, material handling, general assembly, panel mounting, and general construction activities related to the construction of a new solar field in central Wisconsin. Daily work activities will include working under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician.
- Ensure a safe job site, maintaining compliance with company safety standards
- Work in a team environment, seeking to understand best practices for quality installations
- Follow specifications and plans for assembly of racking, modules, and electrical panels
- Installation of solar system modules and devices
- Communicate progress of work, delivery, and implementation
- Analyze construction documents effectively for job site knowledge
- Analyze upcoming tasks and anticipates equipment, procedures and training
- Accurately complete required paperwork
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
- Valid driver's license-Must be at least 18 years old
- Submit to pre-employment background and drug testing
- Previous experience with construction or mechanical work i.e. automotive repair, residential construction, or general assembly is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills - verbal, written and listening
- Demonstrate an interest in the Electrical or Solar work

- Torpedo level
- 1/2 Round File
- Black marker
- Lineman’s pliers
- Diagonal side cutter
- Two pairs Channel locks
- 5 in 1 screwdriver
SCHEDULE:
Monday to Thursday 1st Shift, 4 days/10hrs days-Start times vary however typical is 6:00AM-Schedule will be dependent on weather
WAGE
$16.70 to $41.75 per hour
